In addition to her academic and athletic pursuits, Jewel is actively involved in the Filipino Cultural & Dance Troup in Austin, Texas. She proudly showcased her heritage by donning the Philippine National Costume, the Filipiniana, at the Diversity Night Fashion event. Jewel's enthusiasm for her culture and traditions shines through in her participation in various cultural events and activities.

Jewel's foray into the world of fashion has seen her grace the runways of international fashion shows, showcasing the collections of esteemed designers such as Jhay Layson, Iris Viacrusis, Ritaci Designs of Texas USA, Kirsten Regalado, Velzon Hizon Velez, Chona Bacaoco, and Mitch Desunia. Her poise, grace, and striking presence on the runway have captivated audiences and earned her recognition as a rising star in the industry. As a young ambassadress of Austin, Texas, USA for kids by Miss Worldwide International, Jewel is dedicated to promoting cultural diversity and unity through fashion shows and beauty contests.
